Rules & Guidelines

  • Each team must consist of a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 3 members.
  • Each team must create a 30-60 second video advertisement for Xiaomi India’s latest product or service
  • Only products launched between 2020 and 2025 are eligible to be featured in the advertisement
  • Any product launched before 2020 will not be considered
  • Any video that does not adhere to the specified format will not be accepted
  • The ad duration must not exceed 60 seconds, including titles. Any video exceeding this time limit will be rejected
  • Any advertisement that defames or portrays Xiaomi products in a degrading manner will be disqualified
  • Understand the brief: Read it carefully and ensure you fully understand the product or service being promoted
  • Be creative: Use your imagination to develop unique and engaging advertisement concepts
  • Keep it simple: Make sure your ad is easy to understand and communicates the message clearly
  • Focus on the benefits: Emphasize the advantages of the product or service rather than just its features
  • Make it memorable: Aim to create an ad that will leave a lasting impression on the audience
  • Keep the length in mind: Ensure your advertisement does not exceed 60 seconds
  • Be professional: Your ad should be of high quality (1280 x 720 pixels) and must adhere to the content guidelines
  • Submit on time: Ensure your entry is submitted before the deadline
  • Collaborate: Work as a team and leverage each member’s strengths to create the best possible ad
  • Proofread: Review your entry thoroughly before submission to avoid errors or typos
  • Follow the format: Make sure your entry complies with the required format and submission guidelines

  • Viewing the ad-making process at the Xiaomi India office is subject to availability and permission, at the discretion of the product team
