Please go through the privacy notice below carefully. This notice will help you understand what kind of personal information we will process and collect from you (“Personal Data”) for Mi Summit Competition 2025 (“Contest”), so that you may give an informed consent.

1. The following Personal Data will be collected from you for the purposes mentioned below:

(a) Name, for
• Registering you as a contestant for the Contest;
• Identifying you as a contestant for the Contest; and
• Maintaining a database of the contestants in the Contest.

(b) Phone number, for:
• Registering you as a contestant for the Contest;
• Contacting you with respect to your participation in the Contest; and
• Maintaining a database of the contestants in the Contest.

(c) E-mail ID, for
• Registering you as a contestant for the Contest;
• Identifying you as a contestant for the Contest; and
• MMaintaining a database of the contestants in the Contest.

(d) University / College Identification Proof, for:
• Verifying that you are a bona fide student of your university and eligible to participate in the Contest.

2. If you win first, second or third place in the Contest, we will additionally also collect your Bank Account Details, for remitting the Contest reward money to your account.

3. You are not required to provide us all the Personal Data that we seek, however, this could mean that you will not be able to register for the Contest.

4. We will not use your Personal Data for any other purposes. However, Xiaomi may be required to share the aforesaid information with government authorities and agencies for the purposes of verification of identity or for prevention, detection, investigation including cyber incidents, prosecution and punishment of offences, or any other legal compliances if required under applicable laws.

5. We will process your Personal Data only till the purposes mentioned hereinabove are served. We will not retain any Personal Data if it does not serve the purposes mentioned above.

6. In accordance with applicable laws, we will delete your Personal Data upon completion of distribution of Contest reward money, and in any case, within three (3) months of the conclusion of the Contest.

7. Should you have any questions regarding the processing of your Personal Data for the purposes set out in this Notice, you can contact us at ind-careers@xiaomi.com.

8. You can withdraw your consent for processing your Personal Data at any time, by sending an e-mail to ind-careers@xiaomi.com with subject line “Revocation of Consent for Processing Personal Data | Mi Summit 2025”. Upon withdrawal of your consent, your submission to the Contest will no longer be eligible, and you will not be entitled to receive any Contest prizes or rewards.

You may revoke your consent for ceasing the processing of any or all of your Personal Data. If you do so, your Personal Data shall be erased, unless we are required to retain it to comply with applicable laws.

9.You have the right to:

• Access information about your Personal Data
• correct and update your Personal Data
• erase your Personal Data Personal Data data
• Nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf in case of death or incapacity.
